Leaders
At Branston we have many pupils who are student leaders. Firstly we have a head boy and girl, supported by their deputies. The head boy, head girl and deputies are selected by the principal and staff.
Each house has a boy and girl captain, who are chosen by the staff belonging to that house. Every class elects a class councillor to represent them on the Student Council. The Student Council meets once a week with the D.P. The council has been involved in setting the Values, raising funds, giving out sports gear, answering the phones during lunch time, running assemblies, taking lunch orders, welcoming visitors, and speaking on behalf of our school.
All our leaders go to the Young Leaders Forum at the beginning of the year, paid for by the school and local businesses.
